How to represent the specifications of the jacquard machine

Mar 18, 2023 Leave a message

The size of the jacquard machine is distinguished by the number of vertical needles. It is indicated by the number (commonly known as the number of mouths). The larger the number, the greater the number of needles. There are 4, 8, 12, 16 vertical rows of ordinary jacquard machine vertical needles, and the number of horizontal rows of vertical needles varies with the number of jacquard machines. When designing grained fabrics (i.e. jacquard fabrics), the number of stitches used should generally be equal to the number of warp yarns in a pattern cycle (simple fabrication). The number of needles should also be equal to the whole multiple of the number of complete warp yarns of the ground tissue, otherwise the continuity of the ground tissue will be destroyed at the junction of the pattern. The number of needles is preferably a multiple of the number of holes per row on the grain board, so as to facilitate craftsmanship, ginning, assembly and other processes.
